Koumbit will hold its 2007 General Assembly on october 21st

The assembly will be held at Centre St-Pierre, 1212 Panet St. in Montreal, room 203 on Sunday, october 21st. The schedule of the day is listed in our Wiki and the remainder of this article.

We are planning several activities and seminars along with the assembly itself:

• a legal panel under the theme : "legal intimidation and the chilling effect : a threat to Internet free speech";
• an activist panel under the theme "how to reconcile your social and professional lives with your political and ethical beliefs";
• a brief introduction to the upcoming "La fourmillière" (the ant house) technical training seminars.

Some informal time frames will allow Koumbit to renew its memberships and do a key signing party for those of you who'd like to have more secure and confidential electronic (e-mail) communications.
